PIA resumes flight to Dhaka


Pakistan's national flag carrier PIA (Pakistan International Airlines) has resumed its flight operation to Dhaka after two years.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mir Mohammad Nasir Uddin inaugurated the operation of a PIA flight at ZIA International Airport on Saturday, an official handout said here yesterday.

PIA will operate two flights a week to Dhaka under an agreement signed between the two countries.

Biman Bangladesh Airlines operates three flights every week to Pakistan.

Acting high commissioner of Pakistan, Chairman of Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh Air Commodore Zahed Quddus and acting managing director of Bangladesh Biman Mahmudur Rahman were also present.
