Easy victory for Latif Memorial


An unbeaten half-century from Sultanur Arefin guided MA Latif Memorial Institute to a 35-run victory over BADC High School in one of three Dhaka Metropolis qualifying matches of the Standard Chartered 22nd National School Cricket Championship at the Mirpur Outer Stadium yesterday.

Batting first MA Latif made 199 for seven in stipulated 35 overs.

In reply, BADC were all out for 164 runs in 27.1 overs.

In the other matches of the day, Keya Kindergarten beat Sonnet Kindergarten AB High School by 22 runs at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium and BLS School defeated Anandadhara Benaroshy by three wickets at the Uttara Police Lines ground.
