SSC exam delayed by 55 minutes

About 1000 SSC examinees sat for examination at Shympur High School centre in Baderganj upazila 55 minuets behind schedule yesterday as 350 answer scripts were missing.

Physic and History examinations were scheduled to begin at 10:30 am.

But, to the great agony and suspense of examinees, the authorities delayed in beginning the examinations without letting them know what had happened.

Finally, it began at 11:25 am.

A total of 350 answer scripts were missing from the centre.

The examinations started after the authorities arranged answer scripts from Baderganj High School centre.

However, TNO of Baderganj upazila denied the allegation that the answer scripts were missing. He said there was shortage of 350 answer scripts in the bags supplied by Rajshahi Education Board.

A teacher on condition of unanimity said the answer scripts were lost from a room of the center Sunday night. It was detected during sorting answer scripts, he said.
