Another accolade for Tanvir Mokammel's film
Tanvir Mokammel's acclaimed film Lal Shalu (A tree without roots) - based on the illustrious Bangla epic Lal Shalu by Syed Waliullah, will be screened at the Bangkok Film Festival, that is scheduled to be held from April 29 to May 9. Tanvir Mokammel, the scriptwriter and the director of the film has been invited to the festival where he will attend a question answer session on the film, says a press release.

Lal Shalu (A Tree without Roots) had already been shown at important international film festivals like London, Rotterdam, Cine Nova (Belgium), One World (Wales), Montreal, Vancouver, Delhi, Kolkata and other festivals and earned credentials from the film critics the world over.
