Outlaws bomb to death two JCD leaders |

Outlawed Purbo Banglar Communist Party (Janajuddho) in a bomb attack killed two Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leaders and injured another at Hardi bazar of Alamdanga upazila in Chuadanga district on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Arif Hossain 25, organising secretary of Alamdanga upazila unit of the ruling BNP's student wing and Pinjurul Islam, 22. Salim Uddin, another JCD leader of the same area was severely injured.
The three came under attack while they were returning home by a motorcycle from Hardi bazar at about 8.45pm. Police said when Arif and his two associates reached Hardi Bridge, Janajuddho operatives, who were lying in wait there, hurled a powerful bomb at them.
Arif, who was riding the motorcycle, died on the spot as his head split open. The other two sustained splinters throughout their bodies and Pinjurul died on way to Alamdanga Health Complex at about 9.15pm. Salim was undergoing treatment at Chuadanga Sadar Hospital.
The dead bodies had been sent to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
Additional police forces were deployed in the areas as tension was mounting following the killings.
Earlier on Tuesday one PBCP cadre was killed allegedly in a party feud at village Kutubpur in Alamdanga upazila in the district.
Police said Janajuddho men stormed the house of one Saidur Rahman alias Chila Kalu, 35, at Al-ais village in Alamdanga at about 10:pm and picked up Chila. They took him to Kutubpur field and slaughtered.
Meanwhile, PBCP in a handbill to mark the 28th death anniversary of Charu Majumdar,
warned that more attacks await the followers of this 'puppet government'.
