Golden Nest Cultural Reporter's Award 2003 |
Bangladesh Cultural Reporters' Association and Golden Nest Holdings Limited jointly gave away the Golden Nest Cultural Reporters' Award 2003 recently at Sonargaon Hotel. Film, television and music were the three major categories of the awards, says a press release.
Feature film Hason Raja of Chashi Nazrul Islam won eight awards, including best director, best actor, best script, best editing and best choreography while actor-turned-director Moushumi's Kakhono Megh Kakhono Brishti won seven awards including best film and best story.
In the TV category Lobh was selected the best drama. Mahfuz Ahmed won best actor for Digontey Digholi and young actress Chandni was awarded the best actress for the play Cherag. Model Nobel once again secured the best model award for the RC Cola commercial while Tisha won the women model category for the CityCell ad.
In the telefilm category, Uttar Purush was chosen as the best production. Actor Tauquir Ahmed won two awards for the best script and best actor for the same telefilm. Drama serial Ekannoborti, Ronger Manush and Mukhosh won most awards in the drama serial category.
Dolly Shayantoni and Asif won the best singer awards while Ayub Bachchu retained his award for the best band performance.
Apart from this, there were critic awards and jury awards.
