Photography exhibition to raise funds for Chhayanaut Bhaban


A week-long charity photography exhibition titled 'Says Nothing' began at Zainul Gallery of the Institute of Fine Arts in the city yesterday.

The exhibition has been organised by Mindscape Photographers Club to raise funds for the construction of Chhayanaut Bhaban.

A total of 62 photographs were on display on the inaugural day, and more photographs numbering around one hundred are expected to arrive.

Three young photographers Zakia Roushan Runi, Abanti Antara and Syed Zainul Abedin Eiffel visited different parts of the country including Chittagang, Rangamati, Sylhet, Moulvibazar and Sundarban to frame the nature and its people during the last two years.

When asked, a visitor told this correspondent, "One can see the fascinating bio-diversity of this country through these rare photographs."

The exhibition will remain open till May 30 from 2.00pm to 7.00pm daily except on Friday from 10.00am to 7.00pm.
