The Bengali language has an exquisite term for a corrupt intellectual: I refer to the word vigorously doing the rounds these days "gyanpapi".

Exams
"Life would have been so good without those exams"... this old saying is very much true about the way students think today.

Coaching centres
The necessity to go to a coaching centre right after completion of the HSC or A-level has become an indispensable exercise nowadays.

Schools and coaching centres
It is high time to notice that children these days are more readily leaving school than before.

Good decision
The decision taken by the government to admit students in intermediate course in different colleges according to the CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average) is a good and bold one.

Environmental security

Seeking information on films
For a personal research purpose, I am collecting information on the 1st East Bengal film "The Last Kiss" (1931) and an earlier short film "Sukumari" (1928).

Police reform
My attention was drawn to a letter published in a Bengali daily on corruption & reformation of police in Bangladesh. I would like to thank the letter writer first.

DRockstars
It is indeed a praiseworthy effort that GP has taken to hunt for DRockstars in Bangladesh. A few episodes have already been shown in Channel-i.

Why only the 27th BCS?
I appeared in the 24th and 25th BCS exams I passed the preliminary, written and psychological test and appeared in the viva, but could not qualify finally.

MiG-29 and frigate
Mig-29 fighter aircraft and the Korean frigate, which were purchased while the Awami League was in power from 1996-2001, are considered to be fine war machines available for defence purpose.
