'BCL leaders, workers united under Hasina's leadership'

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), student wing of Awami League (AL), said it would not accept any reforms keeping the party president Sheikh Hasina outside.

In a statement, BCL president Mahmud Hassan Ripon and acting general secretary Shahinur Rahman Tutul said that the BCL leaders and workers are always united under the leadership of Hasina.

They also said that reform is a continuous process and it should come from within the party.

They said the reform proposals placed by some party leaders are inconsistent with the party's constitution.

They also said any reforms should be brought through the party council.
