The deceased Farhan Raza, 30, received the injury during the clashes between law enforcers and Hefajat men on May 5.
Farhan’s brother Ferdous said Farhan was a correspondent of a Chapainawabganj-based local newspaper.
He, however, refused to make any comment about Farhan’s Dhaka visit and his affiliation with Hefajat-e Islam.
