Miss You Humayun Sir

I didn’t go to Ekushey Book Fair this year. Previously, I used to gather money from December only to buy the books of Humayun Ahmed in February. In fact, it happened many times that I spent all my money buying his books in Ekushey book fair, and didn’t have the money to pay for a ride book home.  I grew up reading Humayun Ahmed’s book. He taught me how to enjoy life. I learnt to enjoy rain from him. I won’t ever be able to express what I feel when it rains. Humayun sir made me love the moonlight.  I learnt to get the ultimate enjoyment of riding rickshaw in rain from Humayun Ahmed. I have cried, I have laughed, I have been astonished and my ways of vision have changed through his books. His books take me to another world. Every book of him was a new door of bewilderment. But now! The doors of amazement had closed for ever. I Miss you Humayun sir. You have taken all the magic with you. I really miss you and your books a lot.
