The prices of the most shares on the country’s premier bourse increased on Thursday a day after witnessing downtrend on the previous day.
DGEN, the general index of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose 37 points to reach 3,742 points at closing of the day’s trading.
Of the issues traded, 225 advanced, 35 declined and 14 remained unchanged.
A total of 66,646 trades were executed with Tk 168 crore changing hands.
On Wednesday, the trading at DSE reached 3,704 points after dropping 5 points.
