It is difficult not to salivate the moment one enters Time Out and the smell of food hits one's nose. Time Out not only serves healthy but delicious food in their vast ranged menu. Their dishes are mostly related to Chinese, Indian, Thai and American cuisine. According to a few regular customers of Time Out, the Chinese items are known to be the most preferred items ordered on a daily basis, specifically the curry items like, stir fried chicken/beef with basil leaf, chicken in red curry sauce, black mushroom curry, Hawaiian chicken delight and many more. The curries are best with the Chinese egg fried rice, Thai mixed noodles or just plain steamed rice.
The price range is also very reasonable as the place is a hub for mostly university students. The curries all fall between Tk 90 to Tk 130. The fried rice and noodles are between Tk 115 to Tk 135. And if you are not in the mood for fried carbohydrates then the plain steamed rice is a good choice which costs Tk 60 and is extremely fulfilling. Other than all these items Time Out also offers sets of mouth watering Dosa which costs between Tk 130 to Tk 200.
Rabib Ahmed, a BBA student of North South University, says, “The place has been like my second home for a very long time. I have been a loyal customer to them since I was giving my O'level exams; I used to hang out there and munch on their food almost every evening after my coaching classes ended. I do not know if it is only me but the service I got through out all these years from Time Out is amazing. A place where the waiters would serve your food with a smile on their face is something we do not see these days. I have been a big fan of their Chinese curries since the beginning and at the moment I am going through a steak phase-- a new addition in their menu. The steaks are downright delicious and are cooked to perfection.” The steaks are served on a hot sizzling pan which comes with a jacket potato, sautéed vegetable and mushroom sauce. They have three to four different steaks like these and are all between Tk 300 to Tk 380, a bit expensive but are worth the money.
Time Out also offers a variety of rolls which are yummy and cheap at the same time. The rolls are all between Tk 110 to Tk 130 and are enough to fill your stomach when you are in hurry. All in all, Time Out is the place to go when you and your friends are looking for a place to eat and hang out. Located in Road 19/A, Gulshan 2 (the road beside Warid office, Banani) and House 10, Road 23, Gulshan 1, the eat-out has become a known franchise to a lot of students in that area who are looking for a fast bite.
