Chocolate Ginger Lychees
All Ingredients should be prepared before you start cooking. This will save time and make cooking the dish easier and more enjoyable.
1 can (20 ounces or 565 g) whole pealed lychees
2 ounces (60 g) of preserved candied ginger or candied cherries
6 ounces (170 g) of semi-sweet baking chocolate (6 squares)
1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable shortening

Drain lychees. Spread round side up between several layers of paper towelling. Let stand until dry, about 1 hour.
Cut ginger or cherries into slivers or tiny pieces. carefully stuff the ginger or cherries inside the cavities of the lychees.
Combine chocolate and shortening in a small sauce-pan or in top of a double boiler over boiling water. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly. When chocolate melts, remove from the heat and cool slightly. Dip each stuffed lychee in the melted chocolate, coating them completely. Carefully lift the lychees out of the chocolate and place round side up on wax paper. When finished with dipping the lychees, drizzle remaining chocolate over them and make nice patterns.
Refrigerate until cold

Fragrance and Perfumes
Women often choose their fragrance according to their personality and chemistry without even realising it. What appeals to them often reflects their personal self.

Fragrances smell different on everybody, so it's best not to test a scent on a friend. When shopping, check out three or four perfumes so you don't confuse them.

Apply fragrance to your skin and pulse points only. Allow it to dry naturally. Do not rub your wrists together, this will alter and diminish the scent. Avoid using it near your face or behind your ears. There is no staying power in those locations and this will only dry out your skin.

To avoid any stains and discolouration, do not get any on your clothing or jewellery. Let your fragrance dry before getting dressed. Some perfumes are darker and have more of a tendency to stain, so take special care with "dry clean only" clothing that can't be washed after every wear. Follow proper storage rules, fragrance will darken with age and improper storage.

For a longer staying aroma, apply the same scent in layers. Many fragrances also come in bath soap, gel, and body lotion. Top off with perfume of the same scent for the long run. This will probably last you six to eight hours.

Keep strong fragrances out of the office and workplace. Some people genuinely have an allergy to perfumes and don't appreciate the irritation. They can produce headaches and bring on an asthma attack, so apply sparingly.

A tip to remember... Don't stockpile your perfumes for a special day. Over time, the scent will alter and diminish and you won't get what you paid for. Enjoy your fragrance today, while it's in it's prime.

Sharpen your skills
Fresh out of the HSC's or A levels? Got a few months to kill before the dreaded results come out? Then why not try acquiring a skill that will come in handy for years to come. Here are a few suggestions:

Driving Lessons
Since you've given your HSC or A-Levels, chances are that you are at least 18-years-old. Being at least 18-years-old means that you're legally allowed to drive in Bangladesh. Therefore, since the law is on your side, it would be a great idea to take driving lessons. Even if you plan to go abroad for your undergraduate degree, it would still be a good idea to take driving lessons in Bangladesh, as driving lessons abroad cost oodles of money.

Computer courses
If you managed to survive without much knowledge of computers till now, trust us, university life is going to be difficult without having a decent knowledge of information technology. As a bare minimum we strongly suggest that you get a firm grasp over Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. There are various reputed computer schools that offer short courses, and it would be a great idea to get enrolled in one of them.

French lessons
Besides knowing English, it will really help if you know French. French is widely spoken in many countries of the world, and so it'll look impressive on your CV if you can write that you know the language. At Alliance Francaise (House No.2b, Road No.3

Dhanmondi R/A) you'll find that highly qualified teachers teach French lessons. Enroll there and get a firm grasp of French. Bonne Chance!

Cooking lessons
If you've got plans to pursue your undergraduate degree abroad, then you better start to contemplate about taking cooking lessons. After all, once you're abroad, yelling "Ey bua, bhat dao" won't result in dinner being served. Therefore, take cooking lessons now so that you can have a nice and tasty meal while abroad.
