This Eid, Texmart hits the market with exclusive fashion wear, introducing a number of new items such as their new panjabi line. Each piece is either hand-stitched or embroidered, or given a special motif based on geometrical designs. The panjabi are decorated with karchupi, zardozi, nakshikantha hand work as well as other different artistic patterns. This year they have also given emphasis on 100% cotton fabrics, besides the usual motka, silk, tusshar, joy silk, endi, voil, twil, as well as other exclusive materials. They have also used buttons made from oyster shells on the panjabi, the prices of which range from Tk 850 to Tk 3500.
Onjon's has also come up with its own line of exclusive fashion wear, this Eid, consisting of sari, salwar kameez, panjabi, shirt, fatua and children's wear.
Among sari, available are, a variety of Tangail cotton sari in block print and embroidery designs (price ranging from Tk 350- Tk 1450). Other types of sari include Tangail half-silk sari in screen/block print and embroidery (price: Tk 1050 -Tk 1990), muslin sari (Tk 1850- Tk 6000) and embroidered Rajshahi silk sari (Tk 4500 -Tk 5600).
Salwar kameez include cotton handloom from Narsingdi (price: Tk 850 Tk 1200) ans endi cotton and silk with embroidery, block/screen print, kaantha stitch, etc, (price: Tk 1950 Tk 2850).
The panjabi are available in a multitude of colours, including maroon, blue, brown, black, etc, as well as all types of embroidery and designs (price: Tk 450- Tk 4500).
There are miniature versions of salwar kameez and Panjabi for children, done in voil, with embroidery.
Apart from all that, Anjon's also offers jewellery that include necklaces, earrings, bangle, rings, etc.
Eid with Designs
Designs, the fashion house, has come up with its Eid line. For the ladies, available are Mirpur benarashi, local khadi and embroidered silk for salwar kameez, skirts, fatuas, etc. And for the men, there are special panjabi with benarashi collars.
