Great Wall Motors in Bangladesh

Great Wall Motors, the # 1 export brand in Chinese automotive industry was very recently introduced in Bangladesh in an official launching ceremony arranged by Ace Autos at Hotel Sheraton's Winter Garden.

One of China's most successful export brands, Great Wall uses Mitsubishi and Toyota Euro III engines and adopts the latest in technology and safety features. One of the most highlighted brands at the event was 'Wingle', the first high-end diesel pick-up in China, which incorporates a 2.8 litre Turbo engine made in co-operation with Bosch from Germany. Among others were, gasoline engine powered Sailor pick-ups and Sing RUV's that sported features found in luxury cars, such as wooden interior, leather seats, powerful sound systems and AC, reverse radar, etc.

In his introductory speech, Ace Autos Chairperson, Prof. Hazera Nazrul emphasized on the commitment for extraordinary after-sales-service and low cost, ready stock of spares, as well as the company's environmental values that would be incorporated in the business strategy to reduce air pollution.


NAUTICA- A voyage of discovery

In an ever changing world where glamour and distinction are most sought after, Prestige Bengal introduces yet another world-renowned fragrance, this time for men. The very latest in their long list of prestigious international brands of perfume, NAUTICA, is for the man who knows no boundaries. The perfume is available in two new fragrances- Nautica Voyage and Nautica Blue.

Nautica Voyage, as the name suggests, symbolizes a man on a journey. Created by award winning perfumer, Maurice Roucels from Symrice, Nautica Voyage is a fresh, cool, aquatic fragrance. With invigorating top notes of watery green leaf and fresh apple, mimosa and water lotus as the core and musk and sandalwood as the base- the fragrance truly energises the mind and body. As for the design of the bottle, the first thing that draws attention to it is the shape. Symbolizing a miniature sailboat and bisected in two tones of blue that suggest the meeting of the sky and sea, the bottle is truly a masterpiece that evokes elegances, sophistication and simplicity! With components such as these, the fragrance is definitely one to remember!

Nautica Blue, on the other hand, is an energetic fragrance that symbolizes the crystalline blue ocean and clear azure seas. With top notes of a fruity aromatic base that include bergamot and pineapple, a flowery base of jasmine and water lily, and base note of musk and sandalwood, the fragrance creates an effect filled with the freshness and energy of the ocean.

Launched by Prestige Bengal on January 28, during an elegant and classy event at the rooftop poolside of Hotel Lakeshore, the two fragrances will be available in all leading departmental stores across Dhaka by the end of this week. While Nautica Voyage is available only in form of Eau de Toilette of 100ml and 50ml bottles, Nautica Blue comes in a wide range of products that include Eau de Toilette (100ml, 50ml), After Shave (100ml), Deo Spray (150ml) and Deo Natural Spray (75ml).

Prestige Bengal started out in 1997, with the launching of their first brand 'Givenchy'. Over a span of ten years, the company now successfully distributes over 25 world renowned brands. Their selective brands include names the likes of 'Bulgari' while the introduction of mass brands such as 'Adiddas' are equally successful in Bangladesh.
