midsummer dreams II

High Up
Hair has shifted, and moved to a the up-do position this summer. This is reminiscent of forties Hollywood, with top knots twirls and turns. You will look taller and dramatic and the elevated hair will definitely make you look regal and noble. This can be achieved in many ways. You can pair a sleek bun with a deep side parting; a chic style, suitable for hot weather. Make two pony tails, one at the centre back and one higher. Spray and form a knot over the lower pony tail. You must secure it well with u-shaped pins. This knotted bun on the arc of your head is extremely elegant. You can also create knotted and looped hairstyles which are also going to be rather fashionable this summer. Gel your hair and make a low pony tail and with it, make a plait. Then form a number eight with the plait and pin it down and make sure the ends are not visible. You can use hair shine to finish. This summer you can also have fun by using coloured hair extensions; make interesting shapes and pin them into your tied hair.

Look
Summer time looks could be varied but playing up to project your best features will be the key. You must make your skin smile. You can plump your pout by using a pale lipstick and a slightly darker highlighter pen. Petal pink, rouge, peach or even sheer nude lipsticks are great for the season. Holographic lip-gloss in caramel is perfect for most of our skin tones. But you should go glam with intense shadows in coloured bronzer, aqua cool blue and sandy eye palettes. Dark mascara with a chocolate liner with peach blushed apples will play up your healthy youthful glow. Don't forget a good sun block with a SPF 30+. Sun protection will help prevent premature ageing and skin darkening. Do not leave your home without it.

Ensemble
All that glitters isn't gold. Although shine gleam and polish comes from a variety of silks and metallic weaves with surface patterns. Wearing top to bottom will be a mistake but dressing it down with other textures such as prints or light weaves creates a great sense of balance, which pleasantly works for the summer. Monochromatic traditional weaves are graphically very strong and will be striking this summer. Always remember to balance your ensemble. All the pieces should not be making strong statements rather only selected originals. In a Bangladeshi style quotient be inspired by the old world charm, which shall always resonate timeless appeal in fine clothes.

Accessories
Indulge in a fabulous bag. It could be in a printed canvas, embossed leather or simply studded or beaded. Pretty silk bags for the evening with swinging bead handles or in clutch style will look stunning. Sandals in flat are fabulous laced, strapped or as Burmese two ribbon flip flops. They are extremely versatile can be matched with any kind of ensemble. Heels are good with interesting shapes but colours are turning vibrant and bright. Wedged sandals in cool shiny colours are also looking very 'summery'. Neckpieces are turning wild with floral elements and large semiprecious stones. Wide cuffs and all kind of stack up bangles are particularly applicable come summer time. Earrings shall find their space. Marvellous and bold, they are a strong accessory. It is the power of beautiful accessories that will alleviate and lift your wish list for the coming months.

You need to work the look whether it is romantic girlie charm or modern bold or a classic retro. The idea is to be glamorously cool during the summer months. It is important to look easy and relaxed and not be over worked and stuffy. Get crafty with your styles and play up to your full potential.
