Paris parfums

A Delight for one of the five basic senses, perfumes are a popular luxury that appeals to everybody. Beginning in the form of incense during the times of Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt, to be further refined by the Persians and Romans, perfumes have existed for centuries, and have always been epitomised as one of the ultimate forms of luxury, surpassing even gold. In the ancient world, perfumes were a common part of treasures and tributes that were presented as homage to powerful kings and emperors.

However, in modern times although the perfume is still considered a symbol of opulence, it is now more readily available to anyone who is willing to spend a little in the pursuit of a little distinction, because perfumes are an undeniable part of fashion and glamour.

Paris Parfums, an international perfume store from France, has recently opened its first ever store in Bangladesh on 20th September 2008.

The 1,200 square feet store will carry an extensive range of perfumes and skin care products. Reputed fragrances from designer brands such as Kenzo, Calvin Klein, Bulgari, Givenchy, Paul Smith, Carolina Herrera, Lolita Lempicka, Davidoff, Nina Ricci are amongst some of the brands that will be sold by Paris Parfums. In addition, special products such as male skincare brand Nickel, and highly coveted items from women's beauty line Lancaster will be available for sale towards the later part of the year.

Specially designed by Open D, a top French interiors agency, the store has a strong international feel all throughout its premises. In addition, the diverse range of quality products, the staff's high standard of service and expert knowledge, as well as a private VIP lounge where customers can sit back, relax and browse at their leisure, will make the entire Paris Parfums experience very similar to that of shopping at a stylish Parisian store, or attending a private viewing of a luxury apartment unit in downtown Manhattan.

Another feature to look forward to is the exclusive membership program. An opening gift for all customers, the complimentary value-added service will be available with each first purchase. Members can look forward to enjoying a full array of membership benefits; be it accumulating points to exchange for in-store vouchers, invitations to exclusive perfume launches and fragrance workshops, or even private closed door sales.

Paris Parfums will also open in other countries around South East Asia, with plans to open more branches across Bangladesh in 2009.

For individuals who know and appreciate the luxury a designer perfume offers, Paris Parfums is dedicated to them. Address: Road 126, House 2, Gulshan1, Dhaka-1212.
