CHECK IT OUT

Farzana Shakil's Makeover Salon raises the bar

What kind of pampering do you crave; a hand and foot spa while the urbanite's best friend, a massaging chair does its best on your knotted joints, or getting a French manicure done in an elegant nail bar, or a rejuvenating facial in a cool room with just the soft sound of waterfalls, or maybe the Thai massage? Your wish list is endless but the options or choices for such indulgence seems quite limited to you in our metropolis, even though it's buzzing with beauty salons, and each better than the last.

However, one of the city's favourite beauty salons, Fazana Shakil's Makeover Salon Limited is getting its own makeover done and is opening its doors for the first time to its valued clients on July 29 in its new premises at house 44, road 16 (new)/ 27 (old), Dhanmondi r/a. And it is exactly at this sprawling 10,600 sq ft salon that you get to spoil yourself unlimited.

“The salon comes complete with a great ambience, conscientious customer hospitality executives and a highly trained team of professionals eager to attend to every whim and fancy of beauty conscious and discerning ladies of the city.

“Our mission is to offer the ultimate salon experience by providing our guests with extraordinary personalised attention much beyond just beauty care. We call it 'beauty, lifestyle and beyond,'” says an excited Farzana Shakil.

For Shakil it's her services that matters the most, “The new attraction of this salon is definitely my treatment facials of all kind,” she explains emphasising on the difference between a regular facial and specialised treatment facials. “A normal facial is a routine cleansing or routine look after regime that needs to be done, but when you have skin problems it needs to be addressed accordingly. Treatment facials come in where your skin problems have to be identified and appropriate products need to be applied. There are treatment facials for blemish skin, specialised ones for kidney patients, for acne problems, tightening facials and instant glow facials. I am offering facials like veg peeling, sebum control facials, collagen facials, derma peel and other specialised ones,” she elaborates.

Farzana Shakil points out that, besides her much upgraded facial section - where 40 people can have their facials done at one go, the new salon offers relaxing hand and foot spa in massaging chairs, a sunny and bright nail bar, comfortable and spacious make-up rooms and hair cutting stations where 30 plus clients can be dealt with at a time. On top of all this and as part of the Eid package she will be introducing her spa section which she is calling 'Subai Spa'. Thai therapists and consultants will be in charge of the overall spa section, where each massage room has its own character and ambience.

So this Friday don't forget to check out the new leaf that Farzana Shakil's makeover salon is turning. And pamper yourself to the fullest at her spick and span new premises.
