Celebrate Eid @ Aranya

This year Eid falls in the beautiful season of monsoon. The weather promises to be cooler, the sky promises clouds, which will provide the much desired shadows to make your Eid visits more bearable. Keeping in mind this shadowy, gloomy and dark background which Eid is most likely to obtain this year, it is wise to adorn in a splash of colours in terms of your own Eid wardrobe.

It is wise to keep the glitters and sequins on the low. Combinations of regular block prints with block or hand waxed patterns, hand stitches, cut works and such subtle embellishments will brighten the garment in an eye soothing manner. Tie n' dyes can also be experimented with.

This year Aranya is working with these very colour palettes for their Eid collection. Over the years Aranya has been working with a variety of tie n' dye techniques of the region and has created their own patterns.

Aranya has also introduced different styles of Shibori, the exquisite tie n' dye technique of Japan, and created a special range of garments and accessories for men and women including saris, shalwar kameez sets and menswear in hand-woven silks, cottons, endi and other blended fabrics. A special selection of garments has been introduced for the younger generation. The collection also includes exquisite Jamdanis and Kantha saris in a limited selection of tie n' dye, print or plain colours in silk and tussar fabrics.
