SM Sultan Bengal Art College starts its journey

SM Sultan Bengal Charukala Mahabidyalay (art college) officially opened on November 15 at Sultan complex, Shishushorgo building in Narail.

Md. Zahirul Haque, Deputy Commissioner of Narail, was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Artist Subir Chowdhury, director, Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts, was the special guest. Ashok Kumar Shil presided over the event.

Chief guest Md. Zahirul Haque said that internationally renowned artist SM Sultan is the pride of Narail. Sultan's long cherished dream was to set up an art college in Narail. His dream has finally been fulfilled.

So far, fifteen students have been admitted to the college.
