Another ad-hoc body

The National Sports Council (NSC) yesterday dissolved the expired executive committee of Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation and appointed a 25-member ad-hoc committee retaining the service of Abdul Karim as the president.

Syed Kamrul Huda, a club official of Ceciron Club, has been appointed general secretary in place of Shamsul Alam Anu, who was excluded from the ad-hoc committee.

Some 13 members, who were involved in the previous elected committee, have also been retained in the newly-formed committee which has been asked to hold an election as soon as possible.

Former general secretary Rafiqul Islam Tipu, Jobera Rahman Linu, Munira Morshed Helen and Kazi Moinuzzaman Pila were also named in the committee.
