Hail Hasan

Abul Hasan becomes only the second No 10 batsman in the history of Test cricket to hit a hundred on debut (November 22, 2012)

Khan Sharif Raihan
Congrats to Hasan! He gives us hope and shows us the future of Bangladesh cricket. While hailing Hasan, we should not forget the awesome support Riad gave him. It would have been impossible for Hasan to make the world record without the extraordinary support from him.

Syed Imtiaz Ali
We must know how to nurture such talents for greater glories, and extend all our support - moral and material. Hats off to him for keeping his nerves calm, unlike Tamim. Congrats to Mahmudullah as well for giving vital support to Abul. Go ahead boys, keep yourselves cool.

Shabbir A Bashar
Bravo!

Jami
Congrats to Abul Hasan. He deserves all the praise.

Sukhendra Debnath
Heartiest congratulations to Hasan. Wish Bangladesh team good luck. We are proud of the record. Now we are praying for a win.

Cdre. Mujibur Rahman
As former president of BCCB and chief selector of Bangladesh team, I would like to congratulate Abul Hasan, and also Akram Khan, the chairman of the selection committee, for selecting Hasan who excelled beyond all expectation. Well done.

Selim
Well done Bangladesh.

Kamal Naim
Congratulations to Abul Hasan for the good performance. Once again our top batsmen failed to get sufficient runs. Our top batsmen lack the basic batting skills to encounter any sort of bowling.

Habib Khondker
Bangladesh Cricket Team has come of age. Hasan's performance adds one more feather to the crown.

Harun Rashid
Congratulations to Hasan and also Riad for their consistent and responsible playing. Really, it was a remarkable day in our cricket history. I do believe now that young Tigers will be able to make our dream come true since we have cricketers like Hassan, Nassir, Riad, etc. At last, I would like to congratulate the selectors.

QTS
We do not expect him to score centuries regularly, but we do desire that he plays sensibly like yesterday, without taking unwarranted risk. A word of caution: the previous debutant centurion for Bangladesh was Ashraful. We hope Hasan does not follow the same steps.

World Without War
Beautiful news and the way it has been covered is better than international standard.

Rajeeb Khan
Excellent! Go ahead. Best wishes for you.

Reaz Hassan
Abul Hasan played very well and has salvaged the home team wonderfully. I only wish he performs consistently unlike most of his team mates. He has a long way to go, and we wish to see him in his present form as an all-rounder.
