Bangladesh fast bowler Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, who missed out on the last game of the ODI series between Bangladesh and West Indies, has suffered from a muscle tear on his left leg and is likely to sit out the only T20 International against the tourists tomorrow.
“I played with a bit of pain in the last two matches and the team management thought that it was best for me to sit out," said Mashrafe at the end of the fifth ODI last night.
"Mashrafe bhai has recovered so many times from injuries that I think he is more than just a human. If he plays now, we might lose him for a long time. We don't want that. The injury is not that serious, but we don't want to use him if it's not required," said captain Mushfqur Rahim at the end of the game.
