Div I cricket

A half-century from Mehidy Hasan led Eskaton Sabuj Shangha to a three-wicket win over Partex Sporting Club at the Dhanmondi Cricket Stadium yesterday in the Super League round of the First Division Cricket League. Batting first, Partex were bundled out for 170 with Eskaton's Tanziul Ahsan and Nadim Shek taking three wickets apiece. The latter chased the total with three wickets and 6.5 overs remaining.

In the day's other game, Tasin Hasin Cricket Academy beat the Magnum Cricketers by 62 runs at the BKSP. Batting first, Tasin Hasin scored 249 in 49.1 overs. In reply Magnum were bowled out for 187.

PARTEX SPORTING CLUB: 170 all out in 50 overs (Salauddin Pappu 42; Tanziul 3-24, Nadim 3-32). ESKATON:,/b> 176 for 7 in 43.1 overs (Mehidy 52; Monirul 2-44).

Result: Eskaton won by 3 wickets.

TASIN HASIN CRICKET ACADEMY: 249 all out in 49.1 overs (Asif Iqbal 54, Sejan Ahmed 54; Asraful Hossain 4-48). MAGNUM CRICKETERS: 187 all out in 40 overs (Mehedi 85; Rubel Mia 3-32, Rehan Uddin 3-39).

Result: Tasin Hasin won by 62 runs.
