Unocal in Moulvibazar!

What happened to the $685m compensation claim for the damages done by Occidental in Magurchhara? We all know that Unocal assumed the responsibilities of that fire accident when it bought the Occidental operations in the Moulvibazar block. Have we already received the 685 million dollars compensation or have the issue been settled in court? We have not heard anything about it in the media last one-year nor has the damaged environment been rehabilitated in Magurchhara.I urge The Daily Star to immediately investigate the present status of the damage compensation claimed by Petrobangla.
