Jamaat, AIG file GDs against ATN Bangla, Channel-i

7Jamaat-e-Islami, Bangladesh Secretary General and Social Welfare Minister Ali Ahsan Muhammad Mujahid has filed two general diaries (GD) against Channel-i and ATN Bangla TV channels while Additional Inspector General of Police Khandoker Golam Faruk filed another GD against Channel-i against its coverage of the Bogra ammunition and explosive case. Mujahid filed the GDs with Ramna and Tejgaon police stations and the AIG with Ramna Police Station. In the GD filed on Sunday, Mujahid said Channel-i and ATN Bangla falsely implicated an activist of Jamaat-e-Islami in a bid to tarnish the image of his party and that of the ruling Four-Party Alliance as well. AIG Golam Faruk in his GD filed yesterday questioned how Channel-i knew that the ammunition-loaded truck was coming from Chittagong and going to India.
