Luxuriant imagination
Dolphin, house, fish, birds, frogs, mushroom, patterns, cards, flowers, creepers, mountains, rivers etc. made of paper with different textures and colours, plasticine and foam board were on display at the Art and Craft Exhibition held recently at the ERA International school. Of 147 works, 36 were painting, 85 paperwork, 4 modeling and 39 plasticine work.

Famed artist Hasem Khan was really fascinated with the work of the kids. The artist's presence also generated much enthusiasm among the adult visitors in whose mind the memory of Hasem Khan's numerous illustrations in children's books was still green.

Qazi Abdur Rahman, the Principal of the school said, "Expansion of imagination is a vital and primary step towards thought. To be able to think great is not possible with limited imagination. To try to impart formal education without nourishing imagination is not only boring but also damaging. We aim at expanding the boundaries of imagination of a child at an early stage."
