4 'listed criminals' held in Rajshahi

Four 'listed criminals' including an incumbent member and a former member of Union Parishad (UP) were arrested Tuesday night during the on-going anti-terrorism special drive.Police said Shamsul Haque, 42, member of Jhikra UP, Shahidul Islam, 36, former member of Shuvdanga UP, Mamtaz Uddin, 43, and Jahangir, 32 were apprehended from different areas in Baghmara upazila The arrested were wanted in a number of cases including two sensational murder cases, police said. Eleven people have been arrested since the special drive began on Friday.
