Wallich meets Mosharraf

New Country Director of World Bank in Bangladesh Christine I Wallich yesterday called on Health and Family Welfare Minister Khondaker Mosharraf Hossain at his office here yesterday.The minister discussed with Wallich various aspects of the new programme of the health sector like Health, Nutrition and Population Sector Programme (HNPSP) of the country. Mosharraf told the WB country director that the main goal of the government is to ensure healthcare services at the grassroots after completion of setting up Health and Family Welfare Centres at union level. Christine Wallich hoped the WB would continue its cooperation for the overall development of the people of Bangladesh.
