Six DU JCD activists expelled

Six activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), Ziaur Rahman Hall unit of Dhaka University, were expelled from the organisation for their anti-organisational activities. They are Habibur Rahman Bachchu and Towhidul Islam of sociology department, Mostafizur Rahman Moshtak of linguistic department, Mahbub Sohel Bappi of finance and banking department, Mokhter Hossain of Islamic studies department and Shahabuddin of Islamic history department. They all are third year students. Two more JCD workers Rashed of Islamic studies department and Rajib Ahmed of geography and environment department were served showcause notice in this connection. Sources said they were expelled for their involvement in factional infighting.
