The RCC in collaboration with Ladies Organisation for Social Welfare Service (LOFS) has undertaken the project aimed at producing organic fertilisers.

Rajshahi Mayor Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, attended the inauguration of the project as chief guest at the plant site at Naodapara.

LOFS Chairman Morshed Ahmed Koraishi, Executive Director Shahnaz Parvin and Prof Abul Kalam Azad of geography and environmental science department of Rajshahi University were present.

Speaking on the occasion, the mayor asked the officials concerned to implement the project sincerely in the greater interest of the nation.

He laid emphasis on massive motivational campaign among the farmers to use compost fertilisers in their croplands.
