The Progressive Students' Alliance (PSA) postponed its siege programme following a fruitful meeting with the proctorial committee of the university on Thursday.

Acting Proctor Dr. Md Al Amin presided over the meeting.

Assistant Proctor Md Jafar Ullah Talukdar, Monzurul Alam, President of Bangladesh Chhatra Union (BCU) Ripayan Barua, General Secretary Dev Prasad Debu and General Secretary of Samajtantrik Chhatra Front Mehedi Hasan Tamal were present at the meeting.

Meanwhile, classes will resume today after a month-long rainy vacation. Students have already started returning to their dormitories.

The university shuttle train also started plying between the campus and the city yesterday.
