New drama serial on BTV: Mukhosh

BTV has started telecasting a new drama serial Mukhosh every Wednesday at 9.00 pm. The premier of this serial was held at a local hotel on August 18 under the banner of Nakshi Bangla Telefilm. Journalists of different newspapers and artistes of the serial were present on the occasion. The drama has been adapted by Rasheda Sajjad from the novel Mukhosh of Sajjad Hossain Dodul, who is also directing the drama. Mukhosh is the story of two friends Sweety and Bonya Mirza. The two are in love with each other's brother, Toni Dias and Litu Amam. But their dreams never come true because Lajuk a village girl comes in between. Toni's mother has brought Lajuk from the village to make her Toni's bride. But Lajuk loves Azizul Haquim, also a village boy. Meanwhile, Joy brings a new turn in the story, he is in love with Sweety. Haquim comes to Dhaka to look for Lajuk. This is how the story goes on. Bulbul Ahmed, Nasima Khan, Azizul Haquim, Sajjad Hossain Dodul, Toni Dias, Litu Anam, Joy, Tanya, Sweety, Bonya Mirza, Lajuk and Rafiqullah Selim are the leading characters of this 13-episode drama.
