Both Niaz Murshed and Ziaur Rahman finished 35th along with eight other players in the Masters Tournament of the Abu Dhabi Chess Festival on Monday.The Bangladeshi Grand Masters finished at 4.5 points each at the end of the ninth and final round. Armenian GM Gabriel Sargissian clinched the title with seven points. In the round, Niaz lost to Uzbek GM Luldachev Saidali and Zia lost to IM Imed Abdelnabi of Egypt. In total 77 players from 25 countries including 26 Grand Masters and 26 International Masters participated in the event.
