September 02, 2003       Letters to Editor Exam date and religious festival Rifat Mahbub, Dhaka University I fully agree with the point raised by Mr. Sajol (Aug 29,2003). Our third year exam will begin from October 2. The most important religious festival of Hindu religion, the Durga puja, is starting from the same date. The examination authority should consider the fact that no examination can be held during any important festival of any religion. So, the date of the examination is needed to be rescheduled for the convenient of Hindu students.
