Three of them got fresh postings and the remaining three have been asked to continue in their present posts, according to the official notifications.

Mizanur Rahman has been appointed additional secretary at the Cabinet Division, Ali Imam Majumder at the Ministry of Information and Sakhwat Hossain at the Election Commission Secretariat.

The three others, who have been asked to be in their current posts, are Mortuza Hossain Munshi, director general of Department of Social Service, Abdul Majid of Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Division and A K M Zafarullah Khan of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation.

Earlier, the government gave postings to 25 out of 97 newly promoted additional secretaries, who were elevated on August 27. Among the 25, four received fresh postings and 21 got confirmation in their present posts.
