BNP silver jubilee celebrated in dists

The silver Jubilee of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) was celebrated on Monday in a befitting manner all over the country.BSS reports from Chittagong: Leaders, workers and supporters of BNP and its front organisations went to Zia Nagar at Rangunia, where Shaheed Zia was first buried. They placed wreaths at the grave of Shaheed Zia and offered fateha. The BNP City unit organised a meeting at Laldighi Maidan in the afternoon. Our Barisal Correspondent reports: A colorful procession led by BCC Barisal City Corporation) Mayor Advocate Majibur Raman Sarwar MP, paraded the city streets on Monday morning. Discussion and cultural programmes were arranged at Aswani Kumar Town Hall in the city in the evening. The entire city wore a festive look with colorful posters and beautiful gates. Feeding of destitutes and friendly matches were organised in different wards of the city. Our Faridpur Correspondent reports: A colourful procession was brought out on Sunday morning in the town led by Disaster Management and Relief Minister Chowdhury Kamal Ibne Yusuf. In the overning a discussion with Alhaj Shajada Mia, president of the district unit in the chair, was held at Kabi Jasimaddin Hall.
