Parents of Nishat, a child of three years and eight months, who has been suffering from thalassaemia, seeks financial assistance for her treatment.The girl is now undergoing treatment at the Shishu Hospital. The doctors advised her parents to take her abroad for bone marrow transplantation. Such transplantation involves around Tk 40 lakh, but her father is not in a position to bear the cost. Syed Zonaid Miah, father of Nishat, has made a fervent appeal to the affluent people to come forward to save the life of his daughter.
