The decision was taken at a meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee at the Islamic Foundation yesterday with State Minister for Religious Affairs Mosharef Hossain Shahjahan in the chair, according to a press release of the Islamic Foundation, Bangladesh last night.

Director General of the Islamic Foundation Syed Ashraf Ali, Principal of Dhaka Alia Madrassah Moulana Munsurur Rahman, Khatib of Lalbagh Shahi Jam-e-Masjid Moulana Aminul Islam, Khatib of Chawkbazar Shahi Jam-e-Masjid Moulana Qari Obaidullah and other members of the committee were present at the meeting.
