Ferry service on Kirtonkhola resumes

Ferry service on the Kirtonkhola river on the Barisal-Bhola highway resumed Friday afternoon after two days' disruption. The service was disrupted as pontoons sank and were displaced by strong current of water. The suspension created snarl-up of vhicles on both sides of the river, which will take some time to be cleared, Roads and Hihways officials said yesterday.
