Saquee Hossain on "Organogram: How the word came?" (September 16), I cannot say 'how the word came'; but can safely vouch for the fact that this word was first widely used during president Ershad's regime. Immediately after he took power, the general formed the famous "Enam Committee" to study the organisational structures of various ministries, departments, directorates and offices of the government. At that time, I really came across the word.
