A father seeks financial assistance for the treatment of his daughter who has long been suffering from thalassaemia. Rubaiyat Sharmin Bannya, a meritorious student of class one of PTI Primary School, Khulna, needs immediate bone marrow transplantation, her doctors said. But such transplantation abroad will cost around Tk 20 lakh which her father Md Abdul Majid, a lecturer of a government college, could not afford, says a press release. He has appealed to the prime minister and the generous people to extend a helping hand to save his daughter.
