Defiant Israeli pilots emit hopes for mankind

Accordingly to a BBC report, twenty-seven pilots of the Israeli Air Force, (reservists and new recruits) have sent a representation to the authorities, stating categorically that they will refuse to carry out any command that would require them to bomb civilian Palestinian targets.

After the lies and deceit surrounding the invasion of Iraq, this was like a breath of fresh air in a choked-off room full of noxious fumes. Though many would take it as a small thing, and one not without parallel or precedent, yet, it is on such small things that we must sustain our hope for the betterment of the mankind.

When a small flame of integrity and courage rages in defiance, it emits lights to remove the scourge of darkness, hypocrisy and opportunism on which the jingoistic Jewish state was built.
