Probe body in M'singh

A one-member investigation committee of police department, headed by Adl DIG Hassan Mahmud Khondaker, into the police harassment of former national cricketer Saiful Islam arrived here yesterday morning.Khondaker visited the spot immediately after his arrival at 11am and talked to a few residents of the locality. He also had talks with the Police Super of Mymensingh, OC of Kotwali Thana, members of the number two police outpost and the members of the relevant day's mobile police team, sources said. However, Khondaker talked neither to Saiful or Sanwar Hossain nor to any of their family members till 5pm on the first day of his investigation, family members of Saiful said.
