This is to express my thanks to ambassador of the Nepal for correcting some portions of my article on Nepal, vide his letter published in the Daily Star on 13 October 2003.I would like to add here, while appreciating the necessary corrections, that the discrepancies about dates etc. that appeared in the article were neither 'home-made nor intentional twisting of facts'. Whatever comments I made in my article were based on material that I gathered from local newspapers particularly from the items that appeared since the Royal Massacre of 1st June, 2001. Perhaps the printer's devil played the mischief! Or, as they say, "journalism is merely the first draft of history." Anyway, the discrepancies now stand corrected. Thank you again, Your Excellency.
