Biman's direct flight from Riyadh lands at Ctg airport


The first flight on the newly introduced Riyadh-Chittagong direct route of Biman Bangladesh Airlines landed at the Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong yesterday.

The Biman flight BG 040 landed at 8.50am in the morning with 185 passengers from Riyadh.

Biman presently operates four flights on Dhaka-Riyadh-Dhaka route a week and from now on one of the flight will directly land at the Chittagong international airport every Wednesday.

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin received the passengers at the airport.

Managing Director of Biman Air Commodore (retd) Lutfar Rahman, Chairman of Parjatan Corporation Harunur Rashid Bhuiyan were present.
