World Vision donates 120 sewing machines

The World Vision, an NGO, has distributed 120 sewing machines free of cost among poor people in Mymensingh town for self-employment.Martin Singh, its coordinator in Mymensingh, distributed those at a simple function held at the town recently. Government officials including Police Superintendent Kohinoor Miah and local journalists were present at the function. It was told at the function that such programmes would be gradually extended to the grass-roots level.
