The Ministry of Information has arranged the Saarc (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) journalists' conference, said an official handout.

Information Minister Tariqul Islam will attend the inaugural session while Foreign Minister M Morshed Khan will be present at the closing session as chief guests.

Four editors and two journalists from the host country and an editor and a journalist from other Saarc countries will take part in the conference.

Principal Information Officer Khondker Manirul Alam is working as convenor of the organising committee of the meet.
