3 'outlaws' held in Jessore


Jessore Kotwali thana police have arrested three armed cadres of Jana Juddho faction of Purba Banglar Communist Party (PBCP) from Rajarhat crossing.

They are Pir, 24, Babu, 28 and Shariful, 30.

According to police the outlaws went to Rajarhat to kill Dr Abidur Rahman, owner of Abid Medical Hall for not paying Tk 50,000 as toll.

Office-in-charge of Kotwali thana Shahidul Islam said the three had demanded a toll of Tk 50,000 from Dr Abid. They confessed that they went to Rajarhat to kill Dr Abid, the OC said.
